What is the difference between filtration, softening and RO?

Filtration targets specific particles and contaminants. A conventional softener removes hardness minerals through ion exchange. Reverse osmosis reduces dissolved solids for drinking and cooking water. Purative combines filtration and scale management; it does not replace a softener when soft water is the goal.

If I choose Purative, do I still need AquaTru?

It depends on your water and goals. Purative provides whole-home filtration. AquaTru adds reverse osmosis at the kitchen for drinking and cooking water. You may choose either approach or both; a water review can help you decide.

When will my Purative system ship?

Purative systems ship from Water & Wellness in 14–21 days after ordering. Delivery transit time is additional. Payment is collected at checkout. A water review is optional and does not place an order.

What comes with Purative, and who installs it?

Purative uses a three-stage cartridge assembly. Before you order, we’ll walk through the exact package contents and the plumbing parts your installation needs. Professional installation is recommended at the main water line, with isolation valves, a service bypass and room to change cartridges. Water & Wellness fulfills the system order; installation is arranged separately.

How much should I budget?

Current listed system prices are $1,295 for Home Essential, $2,995 for Home Plus and $4,500 for Home Max. Matched replacement sets are listed at $349, $490 and $795 respectively. Plan separately for installation and any additional treatment your water requires. Final shipping, tax and order details will be provided before purchase.

How often will I replace Purative filters?

Replacement timing depends on water quality, usage and model-specific service guidance. Reference gallon capacity is not a guaranteed calendar interval. We’ll review care requirements before purchase; replacement-set ordering is not open yet.

What if I have well water, heavy scale or an existing softener?

Start with a water review. Tell us about your source water, concerns and existing treatment. Keep any existing treatment in place until the proposed setup has been reviewed for your water and installation.
