Purative™ by Water & Wellness
Purative is a health-first whole-home purification system designed to treat water before it reaches your kitchen, showers, bathrooms, laundry, and the rest of your home.
Three stages. One compact system. Built on a platform with independent certification and testing for specific performance claims.
Whole-home filtration. Three dedicated stages.Meet Home Plus / 2.5″ × 20″The reality of modern water
Water can look, smell, and taste completely normal while still carrying contaminants or treatment byproducts that are invisible to the eye.
Take a proactive approach to the water your family uses every day. Start with your local water-quality report, then choose filtration matched to your home and your water.
What is present depends on the water source, local treatment practices, plumbing, geography, and surrounding environment. Some contaminants are regulated because of potential health effects. Others are emerging contaminants that consumers increasingly want to understand and reduce.
Possible household water concerns

Your family uses water all day
Purative starts at the point where water enters the home—before it becomes part of everything else.
You cook with it. Shower in it. Bathe your children in it. Wash produce with it. Brush your teeth with it. Make coffee with it. Wash clothes and bedding in it. So if water matters to your health, why stop at one faucet?
A health-first approach
Choose treatment around the people who use the water.
Traditional priorities
Those things matter.
The Water & Wellness approach
What water is your family actually exposed to throughout the home—and what should be reduced before that water ever reaches a faucet?
Proof over promises
At Water & Wellness, a claim alone is not enough.
Our whole-home systems are built on a filtration platform with IAPMO-documented reductions for chlorine, taste and odor, Class I particulate, and Total PFAS in specific configurations. Explore the performance details below, or request documentation for the system you are considering.

PURATIVE / HOME PLUSWhy Purative
It combines three dedicated treatment stages into one compact wall-mounted system designed to treat water before it moves through your home.
Whole-home water treatment can become complicated fast. Multiple tanks. Salt. Drains. Controllers. Pumps. Storage. Different technologies stacked together to solve different problems. Purative takes a different approach, with no electronic regeneration controller for the base cartridge system.
Three stages. Three different jobs.
Water moves through three cartridges in sequence. Each stage handles a different part of the treatment process before the water continues through your home.
The first stage captures larger sediment and helps manage scale formation before water reaches the advanced filtration stages.
This helps protect the system and improve the conditions for the filtration that follows. Purative is not a traditional water softener and does not claim to remove hardness.
High-surface-area media and electropositive filtration capture small particles while maintaining practical whole-home flow.
This is the heart of Purative. The media combines physical interception with positively charged surfaces that attract negatively charged material. Activated carbon adds adsorption. Specific reductions depend on the model and test conditions.
The final stage uses carbon-based filtration to support applicable contaminant-reduction claims before water continues through the home.
View performance details ↗One treatment philosophy. Three system sizes.
The three Purative systems use the same treatment approach. What changes is cartridge size, operating flow, and reference capacity. If you are unsure, Water & Wellness can help review your household demand and water source before you choose.

Purative
Compact whole-home filtration

Purative
More flow. More capacity.

Purative
Maximum Purative capacity
GPM means gallons per minute: the operating flow through the system. Think about which showers, faucets, and appliances may run at the same time. A higher capacity means a larger documented treatment volume, not automatically a higher flow rate.
Capacity is not a guaranteed number of months. Cartridge life depends on water conditions, usage, and the applicable replacement instructions. Compare system price, professional installation, and the matched replacement set when planning your budget.
Operating ranges differ from contaminant-reduction test flows. ¹ Capacities are reference values from the corresponding underlying system documentation. System selection should also consider source water, household demand, and installation conditions. Images are not to relative scale.
Choosing your Purative
Home Essential offers 5–10 GPM, Home Plus 10–20 GPM, and Home Max 20–40 GPM operating flow. Choose based on simultaneous water demand, source pressure, and installation conditions.
GPM means gallons per minute. Consider fixtures used at the same time, source pressure and installation—not bathroom count alone.
Reference gallon capacity helps compare models. It is not a guarantee of months between filter changes.
On a small screen, swipe the comparison to see all three systems.

Cartridge format is not the assembled system’s dimensions. Before purchase, review the model’s installed dimensions, connection size and cartridge-change clearance with your installer.
Installation is arranged separately. Your water may need additional treatment. Replacement timing depends on water quality, usage and model-specific service guidance.
Operating flow ranges differ from contaminant-reduction test flows. Reference capacities relate to the underlying system documentation. Confirm model selection and applicable performance details for your water.

How it fits into the home
Purative is installed on the main water line before water is distributed through the house. Inlet and outlet isolation valves and a valved bypass let the filters be serviced while water remains available to the home.
Ask about installation ↗Conceptual point-of-entry layout
A separate valved bypass routes untreated water around the filters during service. Conceptual layout; follow the approved model-specific instructions for required upstream devices, accessories and local plumbing requirements.
Performance documentation
Our whole-home systems use a filtration platform with documented performance for specific configurations. Here is what the current IAPMO documentation supports.
Confirmation of the exact Purative-branded configuration is still pending; the claims below describe the underlying systems covered by the documentation.
| What is reduced | What it means | Test standard |
|---|---|---|
| Chlorine, taste & odor | Reduction of chlorine and associated taste and odor under the listed test conditions. | NSF/ANSI 42 |
| Class I particulate | Fine-particle reduction. This is not a bacteria, virus or cyst certification. | NSF/ANSI 42 |
| Total PFAS | The specific Total PFAS reduction claim in the listing. It does not establish removal of every PFAS chemical or complete removal at every concentration. | NSF/ANSI 53 |
NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 addresses materials safety for the listed components in cold-water use (23°C).
NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 addresses lead content in the product’s materials. It is not a lead-removal claim.
These whole-home model tables do not list reductions for chloramine, lead in water, other heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, cysts, spores, pharmaceuticals, pesticides or VOCs/THMs. Technology-level testing is separate from model-specific certification.
Purative is not a traditional water softener. Filtration does not establish hardness-mineral removal. Follow local water advisories; do not rely on filtration alone to make microbiologically unsafe or unknown-quality water safe.
Performance documentation and applicable certificates are available on request. Our team can help explain the documentation for the system you are considering.
