QUINTON is living seawater/marine plasma harvested from seasonal vortex plankton blooms 100 feet below sea level in the Bay of Biscay. This area of the sea is satellite monitored and known for its powerful currents and ocean upwellings that bring nutrients into the plankton bloom, which is made up of billions of forms of tiny plant and animal life called Phytoplankton and Zooplankton. Under the action of sunlight, a transformation occurs between the plankton, minerals, amino acids and nucleic acids.
These plankton blooms are the highest concentration and diversity of life on our planet and are the source of more than 50% of the oxygen in the atmosphere. Phytoplankton are the "lungs" of the sea, and the oxygen from one out of every two breaths we take comes from plankton.

Tap water is usually around a pH of 7 (neutral), whereas alkaline water is touted to be pH of 8 or higher. The stomach is VERY acidic with a ph of 1.5 to 3.5. The acidity in the stomach is designed to assist with digestion and inhibit the growth of pathogens.
