1 What is the difference between Quinton Isotonic 8 Hypertonic?

Isotonic is the "tonic" and Hypertonic is the "nutrient". When working to improve complex or acute health challenges, Isotonic has superior identity with, and accessibility to, the extracellular terrain. It carries the identity of the extracellular fluid, correcting and balancing its corrupted composition quickly. It's concentration matches human plasma almost identically. Isotonic is taken on an empty stomach without water. Best results are obtained by holding Isotonic in your mouth for 30 seconds before swallowing.

Hypertonicprovides a higher concentration of minerals and trace elements required for the metabolic activity of the body, to compensate for what is missing from our food. It is used for rejuvenation, rehydration and mineralization of water, or whenever one engages in intense physical or mental activities. Hypertonic can be taken at any time, with or without food/water.

2 How do i start taking quinton? Which version should i take?

We suggest starting with Isotonic for 1-3 months depending on the level of imbalance or deficiency, and then using Hypertonic for maintenance. Many use BOTH on a daily basis for different concerns (for example, hypertonic in their reverse osmosis water AND 1 Isotonic before bed to support calming). Those who are intensely sweating through exercise or physical jobs may use more hypertonic as needed.

3 How many Quinton can i take per day?

1-6 depending on the individual's level of deficiency or imbalance. 1-2 ampoules is a great daily maintenance regimen for healthy individuals.

4 What is the difference between QuintEssential 3.3 and Quinton Hypertonic?

These are the same product except original Hypertonic is packaged in a glass ampoule and QE 3.3 is in a sachet. Both are 10ml.

5 What is the difference between QuintEssential 0.9 and Quinton Isotonic?

These are the same product except original Isotonic is packaged in a glass ampoule and QE 0.9 is in a sachet. Both are 10ml.

6 How much Quinton Hypertonic should I put in my daily water for mineralization?

~10 ml of Quinton Hypertonic (1 ampoule) per 1 Liter of water is suggested, but you can add more/less to your taste preference.

7 What happens if I take Isotonic with a meal?

The benefit will mostly be nutritional, not therapeutic. If someone is taking Quinton close to or with a meal, they should use Hypertonic. It is important that Isotonic be taken on an empty stomach, 30 minutes before a meal, so it can quickly access the extracellular matrix.

8 Are there any contraindications?

Anyone who is currently dealing with high blood pressure or is on dialysis should not take Hypertonic, as it has a higher concentration compared to Isotonic. As always, make sure your Doctor is aware of what you are taking.

9 Iodine content for those with thyroid concerns?

It is minimal (<0.05 mg/L) due to the fact that marine plants (kelp) and organisms absorb it. An ampoule of Isotonic would contain 0.0005 mg of iodine. There's more in an apple.

10 Can I take if I have a shellfish allergy?

11 How to safely open the glass ampoule

Break one end using the included disc or paper towel and wipe off that end with tissue. Tap ampoule to allow one drop to emerge. Place finger over this open end and turn the ampoule. Break off the other end with disc or tissue and wipe with tissue. Allow another drop to emerge. Place over mouth and release finger from opposite end to allow Quinton to flow into mouth. Hold in mouth for 30 seconds and then swallow.

1 What technology does the Aquatru use to filter water?

4 step Reverse osmosis with carbon block filter. Since carbon filters vary dramatically in effectiveness, Aquatru uses the BEST and most expensive carbon block filter.

2 How long do the filters last? Does my Aquatru come with the first set of filters?

The pre-filter will last six months. The Reverse Osmosis filter will last two years or 1200 gallons, whichever comes first. The final carbon VOC filter will last one year or 600 gallons, whichever comes first. Yes, a new Aquatru comes with one set of filters.

3 How much do the tanks hold?

The tap water tank holds about a gallon (3.8 liters) of water. The clean water tank holds about 3 quarts (2.8 liters) of purified water.

4 What is the source of the carbon in the carbon filters?

Coconut Shell Activated Carbon

5 What is the efficiency rate of the Aquatru?

The AquaTru is the most efficient RO drinking water appliance in the world - an incredible 65-75 % Recovery. The "% RECOVERY" of an RO system is the volume of pure RO water that passes through the membrane compared to the tap water fed into it. The difference goes down the drain. Conventional RO systems are about 15 - 25%= very wasteful. This means that conventional RO systems produce 1.5 to 2.5 gallons of purified water for every 10 gallons put into it. The AquaTru produces 6.5 to 7.5 gallons out of every 10 gallons.

6 What is the rate of filtration? How fast is it?

The AquaTru purifies 1 gallon of water in 12-15 minutes. And because it uses a pressure pump to push the water through the reverse osmosis membrane, cost for electricity is negligible.

7 What are the dimensions?

14″ Tall x 14″ Deep x 12″ Wide

8 What type of plastic is used in the Aquatru Tanks?

The Aquatru uses BPA-free TRITAN polymer -the same used for the VITAMIX food processor. Feel free to immediately transfer your purified water into a glass container for storage.

9 Can I use AquaTru to filter ocean or lake water?

No, it is not recommended. Expect to drastically reduce the lifespan of the reverse osmosis unit if you try.

10 Will the AquaTru remove all pathogenic microbes?

AquaTru (RO) and most distillers are capable of removing 99+% of parasites, cysts and bacteria, however drinking water purification devices are not permitted to address pathogenic microbial contaminants "absolutely" as a guarantee of safety. Therefore, Aquatru and virtually all consumer drinking water purification products are specified for "municipal water" use only (or approved/tested well water). If you go to a sporting goods store you can find special camping purifiers that are primarily designed to protect from pathogenic microbes, but understand these DO NOT and cannot effectively remove the chemical, heavy metals and pharmaceuticals that the AquaTru does effectively.

1 How many ppms does one tablet of Active H2 or Active H2+ chromax produce?

In 10-12 oz of water you can expect to obtain around 10 ppm.

2 What kind of water should | use and does temperature matter?

You can use any uncarbonated source of room temperature water (tea, coffee, juice are not suggested). Extreme water temperatures can impact the rate of reaction. Use water around neutral ph for best results. Carbonated water would be too acidic. Keep in mind that these suggestions are for BEST results. If you want to use other beverages, just know that you may not achieve 10 ppm molecular hydrogen per tablet.

3 What happens if i don't drink it immediately?

The highest concentration of Hydrogen is obtained IMMEDIATELY after the reaction occurs/tablet is dissolved. Do not let water sit or the concentration will diminish with time. Yes, you will still have a higher concentration of hydrogen-infused water an hour later, but it will not be a very high ppm at that point.

4 How many tablets should i take? Can i take 4 or more tablets at once?

It is far better to use 1-2 tablets multiple times per day versus 3-4 tablets at one time, both for clinical effectiveness AND cost effectiveness. One would not be able to quickly drink the large quantity of water necessary to get the benefit of 3 or 4 tablets at one time. However, most of us can quickly drink 10-12 oz of water to obtain the HIGH ppm from 1 tablet dissolution; or 12-16 oz of water needed for 2 tablets. Keep in mind that you are also obtaining 80mg of bioavailable magnesium per tablet. If combining multiple H2 tablets with other magnesium supplementation, magnesium in high doses could contribute to looser stool.

5 Why not use a Hydrogen generator instead of tablets?

Hydrogen generators produce a MUCH lower concentration of hydrogen and also decrease in effectiveness over time. One can always obtain H2 blue reagent to test the ppm of Hydrogen produced by one tablet immediately after it is dissolved in comparison to a generator. Research shows cycling HIGHER ppms of hydrogen provides greater clinical effects than low ppm.
