4-Stage Ultra Reverse Osmosis Purification Process

Efficient: Reverse osmosis technology uses high pressure to force water through a fine, semi-permeable membrane that filters out most contaminants. The result of this process produces a certain amount of “waste water”, which contains a high concentration of those rejected contaminants. In standard under-the-sink reverse osmosis systems, for every 1 gallon of pure water produced, around 4 gallons of waste water goes straight down the drain. AquaTru does things differently. AquaTru is 4x more efficient, creating very little waste water that can even be used for watering your lawn.

Note on IAPMO certification and contaminant removal:
All of our AquaTru purifiers to date have been independently tested and certified by IAPMO to NSF standards to remove 83 contaminants. Our new AquaTru Carafe has also been independently tested by IAPMO to NSF standards for removal of the same contaminants.
Eighty-two contaminants have already passed testing and one contaminant is still undergoing testing (Lead).* Based on our professional experience and filter technology, we have complete confidence that these contaminants will also pass shortly as well. Final certification will take an additional few months after testing is complete.

*We have already passed testing on Lead reduction on one purifier, but certification requires 2 units be tested. The second unit is currently under testing. Please note that until certification is complete, you will not be able to find this new model on IAPMO’s website of certified products.
