The foundation of nutrition
The story of Quinton Marine Plasma.
René Quinton’s work began in France. Robert Slovak’s introduction came much later, in Brazil. Both are part of the story behind Quinton at Water & Wellness.

Who was René Quinton?
René Quinton studied the relationship between seawater and the internal environment of living organisms. His name became associated with a laboratory and preparations made from seawater.
Three early milestones.
In 1904, he published L’Eau de Mer, milieu organique. He established his laboratory in 1905, followed by his first marine dispensary in Paris in 1906.
A carpenter named Marcelo.
Robert was working on a water project in Brazil when a carpenter named Marcelo introduced him to Quinton. It was an unexpected introduction for someone who had already spent decades working with water. He wanted to understand more. Conversations with a biologist in Rio de Janeiro led him into René Quinton’s work, and his investigation continued. Robert later helped bring Quinton to North America.
Original Quinton and QuintEssential today.
Today’s collection includes oral marine mineral supplements in glass ampoules and sachets, along with a separate nasal-care range. The oral products come in two concentrations: Isotonic 0.9% and Hypertonic 3.3%.
